Our Story
The Magic Sprout was born from a love of plants and a desire to reconnect — with nature, with community, and with ourselves.
In 2021, founder Sara Kosicki started a hobby Instagram account to document her growing interest in houseplants. Like many during the pandemic, she found comfort and meaning in tending to something green.
That simple act of care blossomed into a deeper calling.
As her community grew, so did her passion. Sara gradually stepped away from her marketing career and stepped fully into the world of indoor plant care, helping others bring life into their homes and offices — one thriving plant at a time.
A Shift Toward Sustainability: After a year and a half immersed in houseplant care, Sara felt the pull to go deeper — to expand her work beyond interiors and explore more sustainable and regenerative gardening practices. This desire to work more closely with the natural rhythms of the earth became the foundation for The Magic Sprout as it exists today — a business focused not only on beauty and greenery, but on connection, stewardship, and long-term sustainability.
